The 6th edition of Lisbon Law & Tech took place from November 5 to 7, bringing together participants for three days dedicated to innovation and digitalization in the legal sector.
The event explored the complex relationship between innovation and regulation — a balance that is both challenging and essential for progress in a competitive and secure environment. The opening session, Innovation and Digital Regulation: Friends or Foes?, focused on how technological advancement and regulatory frameworks can coexist and complement each other.
On the second day, attention turned to the foundations of a new digital economy with the panel Foundations of a New Economy: Digital Assets, Digital Euro, Digital Wallets, addressing the opportunities and challenges arising from the growing digital transformation of financial systems.
The edition concluded with a discussion on the digital transformation of in-house legal teams, through the panel Legal Tech and Digital Transformation of In-House Teams, which examined how digital tools can enhance efficiency, reliability, and innovation in legal practice.
The event featured renowned national and international experts, who shared insights and perspectives on the future of the legal profession in an increasingly digital world.
